Blackhead Removal (D.I.Y)

Blackheads seem to be up there with many of the most annoying things to have, especially on your face! So after a while of trying out blackhead strips and a whole load of other methods, I've come across this simple and easy way to eradicate blackheads!

Now, what you will need:

  • 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda

  • 1 teaspoon of toothpaste

  • 1 teaspoon of warm water

  • A cotton facial pad

  • A toothbrush

  • A small bowl

  • A spoon

  • Warm water

First, you need to mix together the bicarbonate of soda, toothpaste and water in a small bowl, using a spoon until you create a slightly thick paste.

Next, wet the cotton facial pad with warm water and hold this on the area where the blackheads are located, for about 1-3 minutes. This should allow the pores to open up, making it easier to remove them.

Once you begin to feel that the cotton pad is no longer warm, remove it. Then, dip your finger into the paste and apply it onto this area. Begin scrubbing with the toothbrush for about 1 to 2 minutes and then wipe off with a clean cotton pad. Rinse the area with cool water to make sure that the pores are closed and pat dry with tissue or a towel.

Repeat this process once or twice a week, but do not overdo it as the skin is sensitive.

DISCLAMER- I have tried this on my nose blackheads and this has worked for me, however do understand that not all products/methods which work for one individual, are going to work for others.

Hope this helped lovelies
