Las Iguanas - Stratford, Westfield
A casual Latin-American themed restaurant, great atmosphere and food! Myself and a group of friends decided to come here on my 17th Birthday after hearing such good reviews. We were seated after a short wait and were given a nice comfortable area. I felt that the whole seating arrangement was great for a group of people, as we were all able to hear each other and join in all the fun.
We did experience a slight wait before we were tended to, and there was some confusion with the menus, but in the end this was resolved.
Here I ordered the Blazing Bird with a side order of straight cut fries and salad from the Lunch Menu.
The meat was a little dry, but none the less flavoursome. Could not fault the apple mojo-less mojito, really refreshing!
Even better, my birthday cake was a surprise which the restaurant did a good job of hiding from me! A kind waiter brought it to the table with many candles and a huge welcoming smile - probably my highlight of the day.
I would say this is a very casual dine, and would definitely recommend.
